Guidelines for Outreach Ministry
for your state association
1. Introduce yourself and Welcome everyone
2. Read FCAI Mission Statement:
The FCAI is a inter-faith expression through work and deed of commitment to God, family, personal growth, and ministry with fellow auctioneers, family and staff that Jesus Christ is Lord and Master in their lives.
3. History of the F.C.A.I:
A foundation meeting of Christian Auctioneers assembled at the National Auctioneers Association Annual Convention in Denver, Co. July 1993 Since 1993 FCAI has served professional Christian auctioneers throughout the U.S.,and several other countries. The Office of the Secretary of State of Texas filed the articles of Incorporation, January 23,2004. The first official business meeting of the FCAI was held July 15, 2004 In Madison, Wisconsin during the National Conference & Show. Officers and board members were Elected. Today the FCAI meets annually and is growing with the leadership of Outreach Ministries:
The FCAI has constructed a formal web site at WWW.fcai.org providing a prayer request and praise report page. A logo design was made for stationary, advertising, the web site and logo pins. We send Gideon bibles to families in memory of deceased FCAI participants. Praise, sung, worship and witness time are part of the annual state and national meetings.
4. Do opening prayer and a scriptural reading of your choice.
5. Go around and have people introduce themselves.
6. Follow above by going around the room and ask how they use this reading in their lives.
7. Ask for special prayer requests.
8. Participant sign up, complete address, phone, email, etc. Pass around a tablet.
9. Announcements: Activities of the Outreach Ministry, visit the Web Site for list of officers, prayers requests and purpose of the FCAI, Gideon bible memorials, Lapel pins $3.00 ea. or 2 for $5.00. We instituted a participation plan of "Saints" Level of a donation of $25.00 and over with a certificate, and a "Angel" level of a $10.00 donation.
10. Invitation to attend the San Diego Thursday evening, July 19, Fellowship program starting at 6pm. with a Country Hoe Down, concert by Christian humorist / musician Paul Aldrich, fun auction and annual meeting. Visit the FCAI booth at the NAA Conference and Show tradeshow.
11. Keep a record of all donations and mail to Alvin Kaddatz, treasurer. 147 HCR 4206, Hillsboro, TX 76645.
12. Close with Lord's Prayer and benediction. If possible join hands in circle.
